Stiebrs Farms - Yelm, WA
These unique flocks of birds are free to forage on our organic pastures where they enjoy grass, legumes, grains and all the insects a hen could want. To ensure the finest quality of Pasture Raised Eggs, these hens are rotated to new pasture twice a week. In addition to eating organic grasses these ladies are fed the finest mixture of organic corn and soy.
From the time they were baby chicks they have been tenderly cared for by our family, living a free, happy life to bring you the kind of eggs we stand for – Quality, Freshness and Value.
Pasture-Raised Conditions: As Avian Influenza continues to affect the poultry industry, our top priority remains the health and well-being of our hens. This virus can be deadly and is easily spread by wild birds. Following guidance from our veterinary team, we’ve made the decision to temporarily keep our hens indoors to protect them. Although they can’t access the pasture right now, we’re bringing the pasture experience to them! Our team is harvesting grasses from the fields and placing fresh hay in each of our stationary pasture houses. This way, our hens still benefit from the natural nutrients—and they’re thoroughly enjoying it!
We appreciate your understanding and will keep you updated as conditions evolve.
