Stiebrs Farms - Yelm, WA
These unique flocks of birds are free to forage on our organic pastures where they enjoy grass, legumes, grains and all the insects a hen could want. To ensure the finest quality of Pasture Raised Eggs, these hens are rotated to new pasture twice a week. In addition to eating organic grasses these ladies are fed the finest mixture of organic corn and soy.
From the time they were baby chicks they have been tenderly cared for by our family, living a free, happy life to bring you the kind of eggs we stand for – Quality, Freshness and Value.
Pasture-Raised Conditions:
As Avian Influenza continues to impact the poultry industry, our top priority remains the health and well-being of our hens. This virus is highly contagious and can be spread by wild birds, posing a serious threat to our flocks.
Following guidance from our veterinary team, we’ve made the proactive decision to temporarily reduce our hens’ access to pasture. This step is essential to minimize their exposure and ensure their continued safety.
To keep things enriching and natural, our team is harvesting fresh grasses from the fields and placing hay in each of our stationary pasture houses. During the hours of hens being off pasture, our ladies still get to enjoy the tastes and textures of the outdoors—and we’re happy to report, they’re loving it!
Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we prioritize the health of our hens.
